Đầu tiên đem rửa sạch khổ qua, cắt bỏ 2 đầu, chẻ đôi theo chiều dọc rồi bỏ hạt. Cắt khúc ngắn 4-5cm rồi thái thành những que nhỏ. Cà rốt gọt vỏ, thái que nhỏ tương tự khổ qua. Tỏi bóc vỏ, băm nhỏ.
Đun sôi nồi nước, đem luộc khổ qua và cà rốt trong khoảng 30-45 giây thì vớt ra để ráo, giúp khổ qua ít bị đắng hơn nhé!
Xào thơm tỏi băm với 10ml dầu ăn, cho khổ qua và cà rốt vào đảo đều khoảng 2 phút. Nêm vào 2g muối, 3g tiêu, 5g bột tỏi, xào tiếp ở lửa vừa cho khổ qua và cà rốt vừa chín mềm tới là được. Thêm chút nước nếu món xào quá khô nhé!
