"Oh, you are right! Now you tell me, i can easily and immediately get rid of all my god and bad memories which made me and are the reason why i am who i am"

Subedi Chitra

"wouldnt it be easier if you DIDNT LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES?" No it wouldnt, fucking crazy right?

sometimes is the past who doesnt leave you .... waits for you... hunts you.... in the backyard of your mind, with sharp fangs.... sometimes you want to forget... you really do, but its impossible... you cant forget just by will.... because you will be always remembering... next time FILL THAT VOID WHERE THIS BEAST LIVES WITH ANYTHING YOU LIKE/ LOVE MUSIC MOVIES SERIES NOVELS VIDEOGAMES DRIVING whatever you want. BUT DO IT WITH PASSION FOCUSING IN EVERY MOVE YOU DO!!!!! Sometimes the beast will come back, but with less material to hurt you... at one point one day the beast will be dead and you wont even remember it....because you will have, trully, forgotten it...

Skippy El

*suddenly forgets everything* WEW LAD,THAT WAS SO EASY!How could i not think of that one myself before?!

Yami Nada

Too many young ones who never watched The Lion King.

Donald Daniel Smith

If you dont carry your Past with you, you will learn nothing from your Mistakes.

Leathaj Cooper Degraw

fucking wrong... my past is who made me what i am today...

Zulam Rama

Yea everyone always says that, until you rape someone. Then they won't stop bringing it up.

Sarah Sylvester

I tried this argument, OP, but the judge tells me to stop 'dismissing the court and go sit back to the chair of accused'.

Jef Gaspar Sabrozo

The past makes me who I am, so why must I let go? Granted there are bad things, but there are good things as well..

Ahmar Khan

I did, best decision of my life. Friends stopped talking to me, was depressed, got a GF while at my worst point, lost GF got even lower than before... Me and my best friend did go to norway for some work, he did go back to sweden, I did not. I gave up my appartment i lived in through all my depressing time, threw away everything i could not fit in my car, worked in Norway for a few years and got fully employed, bought a house. Because of severe depression I have forgotten a lot of things about my past, I stopped trying to remember stuff and just focused on moving forward. I have hard time remember my family's birthdays or even my own. I cant even remember the face of the girl i once loved, just that her smile meant everything for me.

Betty Straub

But..but all of my mistakes, awkward conversations, embarrassing encounters, cringy hairdos and that one time when a girl asked for my no. and I said 92/100.. it's hardwired in my brain dude *sniffles*

Vicki Boo

While it's not good to always let the past hold us back, we still must never forget it so that we might learn from it in the future

Jamie Tallerico

Is the past wasn't a fundamental aspect of understanding individuals, states or cultures, history wouldn't be taught in schools

Sarah McMurrough

It's a part of learning. Think if you lost your algebra and spelt good instead of GOD ;-)

Angelica Grammann

He left that shit behind. He just didn't move and stay in the same place for years.

Marvin Lidel Obeñita

This isn't deep. Your memories, your past, and what you have experienced make you what you are.

Muhammad Ramzan

Well, unlike in this depiction of life, in life it is not as easy as literally letting go. For some it might be, for most it isn't. I personally never understood this kind of advice.

Travis Tmac Kemp Sr.

There are things I can never forgive myself for. I can't shake them off. They will always be with me, haunting me, hopefully guiding my future decisions. Experiences I see as pieces of wisdom. And warning.
